The Qantas Engineers' Alliance represents Australia's largest aviation unions. The Australian Workers’ Union is the nation’s oldest and largest blue-collar trade union representing over 135,000 working men&women and their families. Since our formation in 1886 we have a proud record of standing up for working families from all walks of life, today our members live and work in all states and territories.

The Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) is the only peak council and national centre representing the Australian workforce. The ACTU is made up of 46 affiliated unions representing around 1.8 million workers. There is a branch of the ACTU in each state. We will best keep the faith with those who have worked and sacrificed to build the ACTU over the past eight decades by keeping the union cause bright and vibrant into the future.
