The Australian Flute Association was formed at an inaugural meeting held in Sydney on Sunday, September 20th, 1981, after preliminary discussions had been held during the 4th Australian Flute Convention held in Canberra at Easter, 1980. The steering committee for this was chaired by Linda Vogt, A.M.

Professional Flutes are instruments which meet the exacting standards set by the professional player. Keywork and resonating tube is made out of precious metal offering a large palette of tone colours and durability.

Our first passion is the Native American style flute, an instrument whose sound can only be described as the breath of Spirit. The journeys this instrument has taken us on have led to our making of other unique and beautiful wind instruments such as our own all Australian Outback Sax and bamboo flutes.
