Our latest publications are the on-line editions of The History of St Kilda. These histories were commisioned by the City of St Kilda in 1930 and 1989. It has always been the aim of the Society to make these rare histories accessible and searchable through the internet.

The mission of AFIC is to provide service to the community in a manner that is in accordance with the teachings of Islam and within the framework of Australian law. To advocate on behalf of the Muslim community on all such matters that will affect the community's relevance, settlement and integration within Australian society. The main role of AFIC is to represent Islam and Muslims of Australia as one "Ummah" to the government and other bodies nationally and internationally. AFIC coordinates and provides resources for activities of its State Islamic Councils and member Islamic societies.

The Islamic Association of Australia (IAA) is a non-profit, charitable organisation dedicated to the promotion of the Islamic religion, culture and social welfare. IAA provides Islamic education and encourages the understanding of Islam among other faiths and fosters better relations with other sections of the Australian&worldwide communities....

An exciting and unique centre to show case the rich artistic heritage and historical contributions of Muslims in Australia and abroad. Fascinating stories, interactive displays, and exquisite art exhibits will provide an insight into the Australian Muslim experience for tourists, school groups and other visitors. It is a newly established organisation and is expecting to launch in 2013 in Thornbury, Melbourne.

Soka Gakkai literally translates as value creation society. In essence, the aim of all members of Soka Gakkai International (SGI) throughout the world is to manifest the life state of Buddhahood or enlightenment, so as to reveal the creative and compassionate potential of life. In so doing, we challenge ourselves to create thriving and peaceful families, work places and communities. The ultimate goal is, through the process of inner reformation (often referred to as human revolution), to create peace and prosperity in society. This is usually referred to by the Japanese term kosen-rufu.

At the Monastery of St Benedict, in Arcadia, New South Wales, we pursue the goal of living out the ideals and inspirations of St Benedict, author of the Rule of Benedict, which inspires the many communities of the Benedictine Confederation. We are a group of Christian men, living together in community, supporting each other in our search for God through prayer, work, study and mutual co-operation.

The Coptic Church has always revered St Shenoute, but for centuries western scholars knew little about him because he does not appear in the Greek and Latin sources that survive from antiquity and because the codices containing his extensive writings in Coptic, nearly all of them collected and preserved in the White Monastery, were dismembered and dispersed into libraries throughout the world.

Bodhinyana monastery has come a long way since it's genesis on 1 Dec 1983. Named after the great teacher Ajahn Chah, Bodhinyana means the Wisdom of Enlightenment. With the help and support of the lay community the monks built the entire monastery by themselves. It was a hard and arduous task but through patience and perseverance, the monks managed to establish a home beneath the trees and within nature.

Tarrawarra Abbey is a community of Cistercian monks in the heart of the Yarra Valley, 60 kilometres north-east of the city of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Founded in 1954 by Mount St Joseph Abbey, Roscrea in Ireland, the monks of Tarrawarra belong to the worldwide Cistercian Order of the Strict Observance (OCSO), popularly known as the "Trappists".

The Monastery has been home to the Passionist Community since 1896, the parish beginning in 1958. St Raphael’s at Parkside was originally under the care of the Passionists, but was handed over to the diocese in 1927/28. In 2001, the Parkside community, including St Raphael’s Primary School, were incorporated into the Parish of St Paul of the Cross.

AUSTRALIAN CHRISTIAN CHURCHES is a movement of Pentecostal Churches in voluntary cooperation. Each individual church is self-governing, but commits itself to work together with other churches in the movement for the purpose of mutual support and the spread of the gospel in Australia and the world.

In the words of the classic Lutheran summary of faith, we believe that we are saved 'by grace, for Christ's sake, through faith'. In other words, there is nothing we can do to earn God's favour or to gain eternal life. Through his death and resurrection, Jesus Christ has won all this and more for us. We also believe that only the Bible is the source of inspiration and teaching.

The Presbyterian Church of Australia is a part of the Christian Church throughout the world. The Church’s name comes from the Greek word presbuteros, which is the word for an elder or a mature Christian leader in the New Testament. The use of the name Presbyterian reflects the Church’s aim to be faithful to the Bible’s teaching on the Church, even in the 21st Century. In its wider use, the name Presbyterian has also come to include the distinctive doctrine, discipline, worship, laws and practice of the churches which returned to Biblical standards in Europe at the time known as the Reformation.
